“I have lived in Troy my entire life. I have worked at Synco Drugs, in downtown Troy, for over 22 years.
Working at the pharmacy has given me the opportunity to get to know people from all walks of life. I get to help and care for people every day at the pharmacy, but I have always had a desire to do something beyond that.
I began volunteering with Common Ground Troy in February, and I’m excited to be a part of this ministry. The guys in the program have really matured and bonded with each other, and it’s great to see that happen in such a short period of time.
I have even had teachers tell me that their grades have improved, and that’s great to hear too! It’s also encouraging to see people of all backgrounds come together to help the youth in our community. I can’t wait to see how God uses CGT to further His kingdom and bring our community closer together!”
